Privacy Policy
Last updated: 17 September 2026
1. Who we are
This website provides a section-by-section reference to the Companies Act, 2017 and related SECP notifications. It is built and maintained for HH & Co, Chartered Accountants, in coordination with the AI team of iecnet sksss, Chartered Accountants. This policy explains what information we collect from visitors and how it is used.
2. Information we collect
We collect only the minimum information necessary to operate the site:
- Server and hosting logs. Like virtually all websites, our hosting provider automatically logs standard technical data for every visit — IP address, browser type, referring page, and pages requested — for security and troubleshooting purposes.
- Cookies. WordPress sets a small number of functional cookies (for example, to remember your session if you log in as an administrator). We do not currently use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
- Information you submit. If this site includes a contact form, we collect whatever you enter into it (such as your name and email address) solely to respond to your message.
3. How we use this information
We use the information above only to operate, secure, and improve this website, and to respond to enquiries submitted through it. We do not sell, rent, or trade visitor information to third parties.
4. Third-party services
We do not currently use third-party analytics or advertising services on this site. If that changes in the future, this policy will be updated to name the service and explain what it collects before it is enabled.
5. External links
This site links to official sources such as the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) and, from time to time, other government or professional websites. Those sites have their own privacy practices, which we do not control. Please review their policies separately before providing any information to them.
6. Data retention and security
Server logs are retained only as long as needed for security and operational purposes and are then deleted or rotated automatically by our hosting provider. We take reasonable technical measures to protect the site and any information submitted through it, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
7. Your choices
You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Doing so may affect some site functionality (such as staying logged in, if applicable).
8. Children's privacy
This site is intended for professional and business use and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in the site or in applicable law. The "Last updated" date above will change whenever we do.
