Section 50 — Cognizance of offences

Notwithstanding anything contained in the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1898 (Act V of 1898), no court shall take cognizance of any offence punishable with imprisonment or fine or both, under this Act except on a complaint, in writing of the facts constituting the offence, by an officer authorized in this behalf by the Commission singed by a commissioner and no court inferior to that of court of sessions shall try any such offence.
